Frustration

Scholars estimate it took Noah around 100 years to build the ark. Once the ark was finished he had to collect all the animals 2 by 2. Let's listen to a conversation between him and God.

Even Noah got frustrated with the job the Lord had commanded him to do. That can happen to us too. Following God's call is not easy, if it was, everyone would do it. But if we do just as He commands the rewards far exceed the inconvenience.

What would happen today if we follow God's commands without arguing with Him? What would happen today if we let His will become our own? What would happen today if we remembered the covenant that He made with Noah and lived our lives on purpose?

What would happen today...?

Genesis 9:12-16 (NIV ©2010)

And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come: 13 I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. 14 Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, 15 I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. 16 Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.”
