Whatever

I was walking through church on Monday morning and found this little card on the floor. The children's ministry hands these cards out to the kids every week, each week has a different verse. When I picked it up and looked at it I really didn't think much about it, but the more I thought about it I had to ask myself this question: Do I do what it says? Unfortunately the answer is no. I get sidetracked, distracted, and sometimes I just don't care. But that's not the attitude we are suppose to have.

What would happen today if everything we did we did as if we were doing it for the Lord Himself? What would happen today if we put our whole hearts into our efforts? What would happen today if we helped each other to remember that God wants us to do everything was if are doing it for Him? What would happen today if every man in America lived this way?

What would happen today...?

Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to curry their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord. ²³ Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, ²⁴ since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward.
